I still had no appetite on Tuesday. I drank a lot of fluids again - including juice. This is good and bad. There are a lot of calories in juice, but I need to get beyond this cold. I need to be able to sleep well at night. I am hopeful that filling myself with the benefits of juice (and other fluids) will help me get past this cold. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of Points in juice and they don't 'fill' you up like food will.
So, on top of the juice, I ate more than I planned. I think it is that whole what satisifies me about food is the flavor and delivery on what I am looking for. So, when I can taste very little, there are things that I eat that just don't satisfy, so I tend to pick. I consumed a lot of fruits and vegetables (again - good source of vitamins), but I also had a sandwich with my salad at lunch - the salad had chicken and cheese on it already. Dinner was tasty and nutritious - Pineapple Salsa Chicken. It was fresh and vibrant. This was one flavor today that came through well.
